Solve : CD-RW probs?

Answer»

Hi guys - I hope someone can help me. In short, my prob is that I have to reboot my computer every time I change a CD. It will then read the CD, but if I put another in the drive, I have to reboot again for it to read. Clear as mud?
I have removed the CD Burner and replaced it with another - same prob, so it doesn't look like a Burner problem.
I am running a Pentium 4 with XP Home, and I have tried both the original Samsung burner + a TDK ONE. Can anyone help?

TrentHi TRENT... Try updating the drivers for the burner by going to its manufacturer's website... Also try running a Windows Update by going to HTTP://www.microsoft.com ...

[glb]Flame[/glb]Thanks - I'll give that a SHOT - though with the same problem with 2 different CD burners, I didn't think it would be a specific driver issue. Thanks, and if you think of anything else, please let me know.

Trent  Actually, you would have to uninstall the drivers for the old burner for the NEW one to work... That is because they are two different kinds...
