Hi I have a game on a PC it has worked for a long time (about a YEAR) but suddenly it has stoped working on both my PCs - it COMES up with the icon for the game (Sim City 4) but when you click it nothing happens! As far as I can see the CD is not scratched/damaged at all and I have cleaned it and tryed switching it off and on again nothing works! HELP Do other CD's work?

If they do, try reinstalling the game.

Any recent downloads/hardware changes/installs?

What Version of Windows?I'm running Windows XP. I want to try reinstalling it but that CD wont play. Other disks work though!Does the Sims CD work on another computer?NoThen it would be a problem with the disc, I'm afraid.I thorght so its just that it looks ok. no scratchers.It might not be a scratch (In my experience, scratches don't AFFECT the cd too badly if it's on the underside). It could be a crack somewhere.

Just to make sure, do you have access to a third computer to test it on?I do I will try that!All Right!
