Answer» Hiya, Im changing a COMPUTER from a FRIED motherboard. I put in a NEW motherboard, cpu and ram. And im hoping I do not have to wipe the harddrive. but im getting a SYSTEM error saying configuration error. Is there any way to load up the drivers of the motherboard without wiping the harddrive? Or am I just kidding myself?You'll most LIKELY have to reinstall your OS. A new motherboard, cpu and ram is like a new system. You could try loading BIOS defaults, but in all honesty the mainboard change is the issue.I agree what pcwizard said.
