It can't get worse than it is....take your time and don't panic.
Sometimes it''s just something simple.
Remember to have all power sources removed when working inside the case...ok, I will GIVE it another trytry cleaning up your RAM using a eraser, not all of the RAM,just the part that u insert to the motherboard, the shinny part of the RAM..Ok step by step guide coming up !!!

The ram reseat.

1. Disconnect all peripheral devices, such as the monitor, from the computer.

2.Ground yourself to the computer with professional grounding equipment like an anti-static wristband or hold a metal part of the chassis.

3.Ok now unclick the clips on each side of the ram slots use slight force to RELEASE them from the slots but always make SURE your holding the ram like this.

4.check for dust , if any use a can of compressed air to release the dust from the slots.

5. hold the ram with your finger tips and gentley insert back in at the same time with your finger tips at the end push both sides down at the same time so the ram clips into place.

and your done there .

tried that,

no use took it to the mechanic and he said motherboard is gone and charging $150, almost what computer costs .

I know it is stupid question, but if I take the ram card out and put it in another computer, would be I able to retrieve my files, or atleast add the memory of my other computer No SORRY, man altho its called Memeroy its not actually you data

RAM (random access memory) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computer's processor.

RAM can be compared to a person's short-term memory and the hard disk to the long-term memory. The short-term memory focuses on WORK at hand, but can only keep so many facts in view at one time. If short-term memory fills up, your brain sometimes is able to refresh it from facts stored in long-term memory. A computer also works this way. If RAM fills up, the processor needs to continually go to the hard disk to overlay old data in RAM with new, slowing down the computer's operation.
