Answer» I am looking for a new sound system for my rig. I currently have 4 speakers + a woofer but 2 of the speakers no longer work and the STATIC coming off this thing is annoying.
I'm looking for a similar setup in the $50 - $100 range
Any suggestions?
My system:
Windows XP sp3 AMD MMX 2.6 GHz 2.8 GB memory 2x Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT Sound card (will be willing to swap out) SB Audigy Audio (6400) 2 HD 300 GB; 700 GB What kind of wattage output are you looking for?
As for $100 or less is really tight for anything that can drive the sound good and LOUD without distortion with 4 speakers and 1 woofer for surround sound with a good range and plenty of bass etc.Well, I'm not looking to break glass here. I just wondered if there was a good system within the $100 budget range. It's just me in my small computer room.I like Logitech's quality. Havent had any issues with them. This setup here is $60 and ok for good sound in a small area.

My wife thanks you too! She never knows what to get me for Xmas.
The audio system connects to your system via a 3.5mm audio plug. The same type of plug that is seen on this linked cable. The unit you buy whichever model it may be should come with all cables etc.
