Solve : clear system error messages compaq a900 printer?

Answer»

hi, i have a compaq all in one a900 and i keep getting clear system error messages, everytime i try to print. It's ENDLESS, their are no errors i can pinpoint and no paper jams. What can this be? It's getting really frustrating, the printers were out in like 98, however this one was practically brand new when i got it secondhand. Please someone help me with this thank you.HelpMePlease...well lets see ......what operating system are you USING. And has this printer ever worked while connected to the computer you are using now ? how is the printer connected to the pc .....ie USB , serial or parallel ?
Do you have the operating manual for this printer.....if you dont here it is ....

Hi, sorry for not giving a little more info in the first place, besides it just hurts me :-/. Well i'm not %100 sure if it worked before but i never had the software i had to download it, before that i never got system error messages now it keeps on doing it and i can't get it to print, it contacts pc just fine, but as soon as it looks like it's gonna print i get the error message "clear system error then press clear" error.

To answer a few of your question it is connected to my printer, which i believe is my parrallel? I'm running windows 98 which is COMPATIBLE for this printer i'm probaly the only one but until i upgrade to a new computer it's windows 98 till then. I checked out that link and it started to open with acrobat reader and then froze up, but i'll try it again. If you can SUGGEST solve or help, in anyway much appreciated thanks.

I wish i was a printer repairer cause it's gotta be something with the printer, but i'll keep my hopes up thanks, jay
