I went to HOME Depot  and got a Clicker for the Lamp I have.

What I meen is you plug the Lamp into this Box and plug the Box into the Wall Outlet.

And you use this Remote to turn on and off the Lamp.

But say I want   a Box for a lot of diferant things and Lamps I know I can just get a lot of them.

But then you have all these Remotes that come with eatch Box.

Do they not sell ONE Remote that comes with a lot of and say Five Box's to plug diferant things into like One Box for a Lamp and in the next room One Box for something els and so on and just have one Remote with diferant Buttons on it???this is a computer HELP forum, not a "remote control design and how it fits into your use of clickers" forum.It's called Home Automation. It can get very expensive.Check into the X-10 system.  It's available from many sources.  It has modules that plug into ELECTRICAL OUTLETS and lamps plug into the module.  A single remote can control many modules.  I used to have a bunch of that stuff and mainly used it to turn Christmas lights on and off.  For timing functions you can program it with a PC.

Plus you can control other things besides lights with the system.
