Answer» When i attemp to get into the CMOS i press delete, this has successfully got me into the the CMOS for MONTHS. But now it completely stops doing everything and simply SHOWS me what was on the screen when i pressed delete. When i don't press anything it opens the OS and the computer functions flawlessly. WHY WON'T IT ALLOW ME INTO THE CMOS! any ideas.if you updated the BIOS there are settings in some BIOS /CMOS which can change this, try keys F1 or F10 or ESC , instead that might work If Delete used to work, then that will not change. What HAPPENED prior to this is probably more important. Try TAKING out the battery for a MINUTE, then replace and see what happens.
