Yes two older desktop to make one better one the one has a decent hardrive just not enough RAM to run even internet explorer so me and my dad are looking to take the ram out of the bad one and the HDD anf put it in to the other one to make it run fasterThe RAM has to be compatible to run in the other machine... Not all RAM is the same...yes i FORGOT about compatibility i think its the same thou any weay i can tellUse crucial.com's online scanner on both machines...see i would do that if i could but my computer says its running low on virtual memory and i dont know what that is or id get rid of stuff i dont use and it just doesnt open any programs dont know if it a virus or whatDon't know what to tell you...other than that old machine MAY not be worth resuscitating...thanks for your help anyways Go in the bios of both machines, there you should see the type of RAM you're using. Or you can always check on the sticks themselves for a sticker with the information printed on it. Though if you say that the computer is so old it doesn't even run internet explorer... I don't think there's much you can do with even its hardware... |
