Solve : Comp not booting at all after installing HD 5450? |
|
Answer» I have all the required specs & i have tried everything to get it to boot. I cleared my cmos and removed all other pci units. Im TRYING to install a ATI HD 5450 on an Asus A8r-32 mvp deluxe. i put it on my other comp and it runs fine. Any ideas? Pull the power supply out of that computer and put it in the system that you want to use the card in... If it works, then your current psu must be faulty, despite that your older card works in it..Check IRQ settings on BIOSI highly doubt this has anything to do with IRQ settings.. Almost everything is plug-in-play compatible these days..Quote from: EEVIAC on February 24, 2010, 12:27:54 AM I highly doubt this has anything to do with IRQ settings..Don't bet on it!! Disable and remove the CMOS battery. Wait 30 seconds, replace and enable . 3. Disconnect and remove every thing EXCEPT a plain PS/2 Keyboard and the Monitor. No USB things. Monitor must be plugged to original VGA device. 4.Power up again. It must come up in BIOS setup. Does that help? There is no VGA onboard... |
