reseating them means just pulling them out and putting them back in (making sure it was done correctly)

Go o www.crucial.com and see the exact SPECIFICATIONS for what you need. Compare with what you got. Not just the speed like DDR3200 or whatever - ALL the specs.

Try the new stick by itself and see what happens.well we are gunna need some more infomation then. What are the specs on the RAM module you bought ,, dont worry bout the pc i was able to look up the Dell Dimension 3000 specs
