Answer» PLEASE help!! i've GOT a compaq presario f500 laptop,its got a really dark display.i've changing the old back light (was broken),the new one is working fine but i've still got a dark display.i turned the brightness right up on the keyboard and also connected the laptop to ANOTHER monitor VIA a lead,the laptop display works 100% through another monitor but not with its own screen.Check the module if is still working and replace it with one of thesame rating.i.e one of thesame voltage.The inverter could also be faulty. Or if you replaced the backlight yourself, forgot to plug the inverter back in |
