Solve : Computer acting weird..?

Answer»

No but, the thing is I used to have a weak PSU with abt 500 in strength, I bought a new 750 or 800 maybe for it to fully supply my fans. And it has never failed until now.. ^^ updating my gfx driver tho I would listen to Broni, I had a diff account on here a few years ago and he was giving good accurate advice then. It just so happens I agree with the diag. that it could be a driver/PSU/loosewire/unseated/bad card/ etc..doesnt look like heat.

To many people resort to trying to get RID of a virus/trojen/bomb etc...That z not even there...OK. I tried updating my gfx driver but after a few seconds into the installer all programs hit "an error and has to be closed" EVERY program.. explorer etc..Quote from: jaythom1969 on AUGUST 23, 2009, 04:42:53 AM

Nobody said that an infection IS the CAUSE of the problem, but there's nothing wrong with process of elimination, although an infection MAY not be likely....... At any rate, I'm not opposed to the idea that the psu may be bad, driver or some other physical problem, and I'm certainly not opposed to Broni's advice..

Try updating the driver while in "Safe Mode with Networking", if it doesn't work, try those scans I suggested, then updating again..i think i have a similar problem

my computer freezes and i have to unplug the POWER to restart it, but if i press the restart button the computer will not restart but make weird beeping noises
i had this checked last year and they computer people said that the video card was melted and replaced it, but now it seems to do this frequently.
Whether i am playing a game or just browsing on the internet.
i am not sure what is wrong
