i have two monitors for my dell optiplex gx240
is there any way to connect it with a sony multiscan 200ES
or a SEC MultiSync FG monitor lensIf those monitors have a 15 pin VGA cord attached you are good to go.im not sure what a 15point vga connection is but i dont think it has that because it wont connect

then it hasd a longer trapezoid with 34 openingsThe longer one is a parallel port for PRINTERS that attach that way instead of the newer USB port.

Post your service tag on that computer and I'll SEE what I can find out about the video adapter. It should have a BLUE plug with 15 holes. I am surprised to HEAR there are pins sticking out of it. Are you sure that is not a serial port? Is it blue? Any way to take a picture?

the comp looks like it would accept that dvi cable
