Hello, i recently upgraded my computer with a new heatsink (zalman 120mm) and with artic silver 5 thermal paste for the heatsink, and a new graphics card (8800gts) and after i installed both and went to start my computer up, i hear this BEEP and i just shut it off right away because i'm afraid that something may be wrong with the cpu and i don't WANT it to overheat and mess it up.  Could someone help me out, i'm not sure what to do.  I even reinstalled my previous heatsink and it still does it.  Please help me, thanks!Also, when i do turn it on, its a really loud beep, i only had it on for 5 seconds before TURNING it off.Have you had the cover of to see if you have dislodged something,
The cables to the drives the actual motherboard connections, if the ram is dislodged, recheck EVERYTHING, did you make sure you put every thing back correctly.
We need more info on the motherboard, cpu, and manufacturer it will all help us help you.My motherboard is an ASUS p5nsli, i have an intel core 2 duo e6600.  You wouldn't think the new thermal paste has anything to do with it WOULD you? i put it on the cpu in the line the artic silver website said to.  Is it because i didn't put enough on, please help me out some more.
