Solve : Computer boots for 2 seconds then shuts down?

1.	Solve : Computer boots for 2 seconds then shuts down?
Answer» Gateway Dekstop P4 420GR....figured it was the MOTHERBOARD since some capicators were blown. Replaced and same problem. Possible power supply problem? I also TRIED reseating MEMORY, video CARD, and took the battery out booted and same problem. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! You don't say what the symptoms were Alan <>< If you blew two perfectly good motherboards wth the same power supply it is certanly the prime suspect
