Hello All.

Well its uni time again and as per usual the questions from me are going to start flooding in.

My main PROBLEM at the moment is that my computer crashes every 5 minutes or so. It seems to happen more when I am connected to the University network (if you need more info. about the network let me know and I will look it up).

Sometimes the comp just goes BLACK, makes a sound like its gunna restart and then the screen goes black and it doesnt restart or turn off, both lights (on monitor and tower) stay green and I have to turn the computer off manually and then on again and scan DISK starts etc...

Then sometimes my screen clicks off and it says "bad signal" and then at other times it just does a bog standard crash, gives up the ghost and restarts itself!

I have checked that all the wires are securely in place and have virus checked and spybotted it and everything is CLEAR.

Any ADVICE as always is greatly appreciated.

have you added any new hardware to this pc?or has anybody dropped/kicked this pc........does seem to relate to graphics/failure.......

List specs of this pc if you know?so far i take it its a packard-bell.....with winme of it..
