Solve : Computer changes resolution? |

Answer» For some reason my computer resolution keeps changing from its native resolution of 1900x 1200 to 1280x768 when I reboot. I have tried different drivers for this card, (Geforce 260GTX) but I still keep getting the same PROBLEM. My OS is WINDOWS vista 32BIT and if I recall the same thing happened on the last card I had. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this. Thanks!!open msconfig to the STARTUP tab and see if there is something starting that might be calling for a resolution change. If you're not sure, just disable all the startup PROGRAMS and reboot - does the resolution still change?Still the same problem.Anyone have any other ideasI would try a different monitor, or try the existing monitor on a different computer. It could be reporting an inability to display that resolution to the OS. |
