Solve : Computer constantly enters stand by mode on its own? |

Answer» My Acer Aspire 4720z notebook constantly enters stand by mode on its own. It started out only doing it when it first booted up, and would do it 2-4 times. Now it continues to do this every15-3- minutes. I was given a script to disable Stand By mode and for the duration of that day it worked. But now its back to its usual stand by tactics. I even tried running the script again, but no luck. I had tried to change the ACPI driver (I have a DUAL Processor) to the standard ACPI, and that FIXED the stand by issue, but OBVIOUSLY made the computer EXTREMELY slow. I restored back and now again have the stand by issue. Any suggestions? |
