Answer» Hello, i have a very interesting development. This COMPUTER wont boot unless you OPEN the CD drive. He has an MSI motherboard and it does on its POST a test for its drives. The only way to get the computer to boot is to open the CD drive, and wait for the computer to boot. He has had this issue before, and what we did to fix it was change the boot order so the HDD was first. I re-tried that but to no avail. Any help WOULD be APPRECIATED. Replace/disconnect the CD-ROM driveYea we fixed it, we had to unplug the power to the drive, and then run the comp and then turn it off and plug it back in. Dunno what happened thanks anywayOdd. If it happens again, you should look into replacing it before something breaks.
