Answer» I have tried to troubleshoot the VIDEO problem in a computer but failed to come up with a solution. The computer has no video. I tried the other working video card but could not get video. I tried swoping monitors but still can't come right. What might be the problem? Is it the motherbord that is at fault? I don't know how to test the motherboard.Did you install the correct DRIVERS and REMOVE all others from the system for the card? If your computer boots and there is no video but the mother board and CPU are functioning correctly you will hear one short beep. Once you here this beep then it the video card or monitor is the problem other wise you have a defect CPU or system board. Unfortunately it is difficult to tell the difference between a bad CPU and a defective motherboard.
