Solve : Computer help needed desperately!? |

Answer» I have been searching for help with regards to my computer. I started READING each forum subject looking for a solution and after reading over 100 decided to register and ask for someone's help. I have a 5 year old emachine that started up all by itself during the night. The monitor was blank and the computer could only be shut off by unplugging it. Now when I plug it in the indictor light is already on but the computer does not boot up. Both the power supply fan and the CPU fan are on but there are no beeps and the monitor stays blank. This is a T1842 emachine with a 1.80 GHz Intel Celeron Processor. Can anyone help??? first i would SWAP the power supply for a known working one. SEE if the PROBLEM persists. if it does, then i suspect the motherboard.Thank you Homer. I will try that. |
