I bought the Acer aspire m7720 2 months ago and the specs are
windows vista home premium
i7 processor
6gb ram
geforce gt230

Yesterday I shut down my computer and WENT to sleep. Today when I tried to switch it on, it doesnt start up.
There is sound of running inside the CPU casing, my mouse(razer diamondback) is showing light which means it's working, and I could press Num Lock it could be turned off or on, as well as CAPS Lock and Scroll Lock. It seems to be running fine, but my monitor is not showing anything. But I don't think it is the monitor causing the problem as I could not hear the sound of windows starting/logging in.

edit* The screen was blank all the time right after it was switched on. And for acer computers, it doesnt show the BIOS and stuffs when u switch on the computer. It will only show the Acer logo, which is not showing now.

a little help is appreciated, thanks Does that graphics card have outputs for dual monitors? Did you make any changes in your graphics card control panel last time it was running? If dual monitor, try plugging the monitor cable into the secondary output connection on the card. I'm thinking maybe the 'primary/secondary' monitor setting got switched in the graphics control panel and those settings didn't TAKE effect until shut down/restart.
