hello everyone
can someone tell me how to fix my computer?
i recently look at mt processor speed through dxdiag in the run MENU it says my processor speed is at 1.1 gig and my ram mem is 446mb but it is suppose to be at 2.2 gig and 528mb ram
i have a compaq presario note amd athlon 2200 processor
does anyone know how i can return it to its orginal specshow OLD is your pc?CHarlie Huynh.......When did these changes take place ?

Have you updated anything which would correspond to the change in operation ......or a possible infestation of Adware or malware ?

do think that if i re-fromat my hard-drive, it will return to normal?

:-[i all want is my computer to be back to its old selfCHarlie Huynh ....you still haven't said when these changes took place .....or if there is anything wrong with the way your computer operates other than the info displayed is differant than what you preceive it to be .....
I note that your installed ram is mentioned as 528 mg....I think that should be 512 mg.

Is your processor a Atholon XP 2200 or something else ?

dl65  i just format my drive i just spent two hours with a hp presario specailist and she didnt help much
