Answer» I'm still using an old kind of memory yes, you can use new video cards. graphic card memory doesn't matter with your PC133 ram stick memory.o ok, thnks for ur help, but how do i find out which graphic card do i need? i tried puttin in my old video card ATI Radeonx1050 AGPx8 256MB DDR and that didnt work i think it supports PCI but im not sureWhat MBoard is this ? ?Asus P4B Rev. 1.05http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/122/2/asus_p4b_i845_motherboard_review/index.html 1 AGP 4x (1.5v only) is what that above site says about your motherboard. I don't know if AGP8x is compatible with AGP4x, but I think so since it loks like AGP8x is just allowing for faster speeds but .... BETTER ask patio or someone to verify.I'm thinking of getting 1GB 168p: Capacity: 1GB PC133 CL3 ECC SDRAM DIMM (will this be compatible with the motherboard I'm using? don't know what does mean "CL3 ECC", something I should be worried about?) ATI RADEON X800XT Platinum Edition (VIVO) 256MB GDDR3 AGP 8x/4x http://www.tweaknews.net/reviews/x800xt/ on the cover it states AGP 8x/4x good choice? |
