Answer» I get intermittent FULL screen color of "pink" that occurs periodically. It is especially noticable on normal white screen areas. I have checked and rearranged wiring to avoid electrical INTERFERENCES but it does not resolve the issue. This pertains to a 17" CRT color monitor.
Please advise.Have you tested the monitor on another computer?
Try degaussing it.No, I have not tried the monitor on another computer. I doubt it will make any difference. I had the same problem with another computer but it mysteriously cleared up. This computer with monitor was new in 2003.
As I mentioned, the color pink does not happen at all times. However, it is irritating to deal with the change.

Try to obtain monitor drivers. They will reveal your true fresh rate and resolution. Only do this if the monitor is deteced as PLUG and Play.
Are you using Windows drivers for your videocard or have you obtained drivers from the manufacturer?
