Answer» Wrong to keep saying that he needs this that and the other without a few simple tests first. I mean, he'll end up with a new computer before long. Hard to say which had really died that hard on both of the COMPONETS, What I would do is take the RAM out an see if it dont beep. Then if it doesnt probably replace the board. Hard call on this one. Here you are suggesting that he replace a motherboard. Just because it doesn't beep when he takes out the RAM. I dont know of any, just that it could be it.Quote from: squall_01 on April 08, 2008, 10:14:01 AM I dont know of any, just that it could be it. What about the ones that haven't had the internal speaker connected? I myself belive its down to his CPU, but lets wait and see. I really don't think he's in need of another motherboard quite yet.why would you want to disconnect it? Yes lets Quote from: squall_01 on April 08, 2008, 12:26:12 PM why would you want to disconnect it? Yes lets This is a forum to help PEOPLE. You seem to be using it to argue the fact you are right. I'm not in the race to prove you are wrong or right, but I thought your input was wrong, Abit like mine somtimes....But i don't argue the fact when I'm wrong. I'm not arguing your try to prove me wrong. I am only tell him possibility's Quote from: Frankie on April 08, 2008, 09:33:00 AM Agreed, I was just more concerned about the guy who told him to get a new graphics card and a new motherboard without carrying out simple tasks. I am just suggesting something else he may wish to try, once he has done what you suggested. That would would then narrow it down more. I just thought he, like me. Would automatically make sure that paste was applied and the heatink was in its proper place. (Especially after it became lose) Here your slamming me, this is what I said Quote from: squall_01 on April 07, 2008, 04:26:40 AM Hard to say which had really died that hard on both of the componets, What I would do is take the RAM out an see if it don't beep. I like to clear again, when i press the push button to turn on computer at the front pannel of the computer case (after pressing main on/off button at the back of the computer case) , computer turns on with a music beep and stays on (this was happening already, even connecting or disconnecting drives) but i do not see any thing on monitor screen (screen black, monitor light amber). After turning on, i can see on computer case's front pannel display, cpu temperature 30, psu temp 29, hard DISK working ( all normal things) but nothing on monitor screen. I really appreciate your time, please solve my problem. thanksFrom what I have read and experienced, similar situations are due to RAM or video. Try different memory if possible or a diff video card |
