Answer» I've had ALOT of problems in the past few days with my dell dimension 4100. I was using it and it was working fine, but then it froze and I tried restarting it,but I would hear beeps and nothing would show up on screen. All I could see on the back was two orange lights and two green lights. I learned that it was because of memory problems, so I switched out the memory and tried turning it on. But now, the computer SEEMS to be dead. I TURN it on and I can hear the FANS starting but they're unusually silent, and there's no lights on. I looked inside and there's only one light(it's on the motherboard) that's lit up and it's alot dimmer than it was before.I've taken out everything except the fans and the power SUPPLY(obviously) and I still get this problem. I even tried using a different power supply but it's the same result. I know for a fact that both the power supplies WORK because I used them on a different computer and it worked fine, so I'm kind of guessing that the motherboard crapped out on me, but I'm not sure. Any solutions you can think of?Have you tried putting the old RAM back in / disconnected the mouse & keyboard / if so then the mb is probably toast
