i've asus m2n68-am SE2 motherboard amd athlon x2 processor, after affected by some kind of virus my
computer starts failing to start properly and
beging to restart automatically...then i cut the
power connection and tried again to start bt i
saw my computer stops at BIOS(ver.2.61)
page and its settings were scramled i got no
clue why this happend!!! i remove the battery
from the motherboard nd insert it again i load
the default values of BIOS then i FORMAT the
computer not once but thrice coz from my
front panel audio jacks i can't HEAR the sounds
but my headphones were OK i tested it with
other computer. Now my computer giving me
trouble very much when i play a video wt WMP
it SHOWS that Media player can't play this video
when hibernation or standby mode is on
something like that....today when i was surfing
the net my computr starts restarting
automatically again and again i scan my pc
with latest anti viruses AVG 8 and avast 4.8
pro ver.1why i can't hear any sound from my
headphone through front panel audio jacks(but
speakers are working fine i.e. from back panel)
and why my computer restarts suddenly after time to
time....? plzzz help me and i want to know bios configuaration speacially for the advance tab option is there any change to make that i don't know... plzz help me any one...monamour010, Welcome to the CH forums. I have a feeling that you may well be best served by having this post transfer ed to the "Virus Forum". In the MEANWHILE i do have one observation that can only help somewhat. Your COMMENT re using 2 virus programs to try and deal with your issue is potentially a cause of some problems. Assuming that both these programs are both on your computer at the same time that is not a good plan. Chose one of them that you like best and remove the other.Then try the computer again and tell us if there are any noticeable changes in the performance. truenorth
