Solve : Computer running at wrong speed.?

Answer»

This is a problem that i've been having for quite some time, and have posted here several times without getting any satisfactory answers.

my Desktop's P4 CPU is clocked at 3.2GHz, but it runs at 2.8GHz. no, there's nothing that sets the speed in the BIOS (if i recall correctly, PEOPLE have pointed out that there may be settings in the BIOS that sets it. and no, i dun see any such settings).

wat must i do to MAKE it run at 3.2?More info on the chip model# and the MBoard...Quote from: patio on November 11, 2009, 06:42:27 AM

CPU-Z says that it is a 3.2GHz CPU, but the CLOCK speed shown is 2.8GHz.

if u r quite done playing with English, it'd be nice if u have a SOLUTION to this problem.any power management options for the CPU in the BIOS, like speedstep?Post image of CPU-Z CPU tab.Quote from: theChameleon on November 11, 2009, 06:37:06 AM

That motherboard is an overclocking board so yes there are settings to adjust the FSB. If you can post them here. This may be a dumb question but have you set the motherboard back to default settings?Did you hapen to read the link i took the time to post above ? ?

All the info is there.
