Answer» I'm running a generic PC I built a few years ago with Windows 2000 PRO. I used to USE it often, hadn't turned it on in 6 months. Now when I try to play an audio file, the pitch is high and it locks up with a Blue Screen. Safe Mode and Restore don't change it, I haven't installed anything new. The Blue Screen message has something about Bios features needing to be bypassed, but I can't find a matching reference in the MOTHERBOARD set up menus. Post more info on the machine's specs and someone will be along SHORTLY... |
