1.	Solve : computer starts up and then shuts right back down?
Answer» :-/ I have a problem with a computer that STARTS up then shuts right back down.Then in order to do that again,I have to unplug it.Anyone have any ideas?I have an idea that we need a lot more information about the machine and components, what happened prior to this, etc., to tackle the problem. the power got SHUT off in the whole town.Thats when it started doing itWell we still know ABSOLUTELY nothing about the machine, so I would say test with another power supply until you can POST some specifics.Comp has has a model ATX-400 Pentium power supply from WTI.Anything else I would need to get on the computer to find out cause it was a comp built for a rental type place.No name brand.Damaged power supply or damaged components from the surge. Start with a PSU and go from there.
