My computer does not turn on.  After some time it will turn on.  It does not turn on immediately after I switch on/off several times it will turn onWhen you say "turn on", do you mean that the power button is pressed, the fans and other internal components do NOT turn on? Or do you mean that the components are running, but your screen stays black?

[glb]Flame[/glb]this happen to me with win xp and i had a VIRUS, i took it to the shop and they reinstalled the wins and gave me a nice virus protection avg. 7.0Other components like the cd-rom and fans is running.  the only proble is that when I switch the power button the screen remains black and the LED indicator those not light UPDO you have virus protection installed?

[glb]Flame[/glb]OK, I must ASK the obvious because I have seen it happen too many times.

1. Did you turn on the power to the monitor.
2. Is the power PLUGGED into the monitor, both into an outlet into the wall and the back of the monitor?  Are both ends secure?
3. Is the monitor cable attached to the PC?
