Solve : Computer turns on only by PSU switch?

1.	Solve : Computer turns on only by PSU switch?
Answer» i have this motherboard which turns on only when you flip the switch on PSU....the front panel power button doesn't seem to be able to turn it on or off.....my first thought was the power switch had GONE bad so i disconnected it from the main board......but weirdly enough the motherboard still comes on automatically when ever you hit the PSU switch even tho the front panel power button is disconnected :-/ any ideas what may be causing this? EDIT- have any of you guys used UBCD (ultimate BOOT cd)? Is it safe enough to use on a clients computer? If you have any better suggestion be sure to list them.What are you trying to do with the ultimate boot CD? The switch obviously is malfunctioning, so it would be up to you to REPLACE it or just keep doing what you're doing.
