Solve : Computer will not read recordable dvd discs.? |
|
Answer» So my computer will not read the recordable DISCS i bought on my computer. I burned some stuff on a couple of them on another computer and then i put them in my computer and they it reads thoughs that have data on the. But it wont read the ones taht are blank. I mean i put them in my computer and click on the dvd-cd-rw drive and it LETS me go into it, but when i try to burn SOMETHING to it it says there is no cd in it. Help please. I have windows xp if that helps For the ones that you know have data on them but cannot be read the most COMMON cause of this is that the burning session itself was not "finalised"... As far as the blank ones the only thing i can suggest is borrow 1 or 2 blanks of different Brands of blanks...some burners are picky about what Brands they like.you might want to buy a dvd r-w disk and test burn to it so you don't make disks that are unreadable Is the blank DVD recognized by Window Explorer? |
