Nope, look again, it's DDR not DDR2.  Maybe you saw the DDR266 as DDR266

Salmon Trout pretty much SUMMED it up:  "...If the computer will boot with either one of 2 matched memory MODULES, but not both at once, the problem is either with the motherboard memory controller or the RAM STICKS..."
