i have a old DELL laptop with WINDOWS 2000- no cd or floppy drive-i changed admin and PASSWORD and FORGOT it. I am trying to connnect laptop to computer with file sharing to load windows xp and overide passord through wizard file sharing but cannot transfer because wizard needs to be running on both. how can i get tranfers to go between computers?Windows password or BIOS password ? ?
Either way you are in a pickle here...especially without a CDROM or floppy drive.

and laptop does not have floppy or disk drive You can purchace a external cdrom.& hope from thereAlso external (USB connectable) floppy drives are readily available (inexpensive). However i don't see how this helps with your "password" issues?truenorthif your laptop works with the newly purchased external cdrom drive, you can download and burn either Hirens Boot Disk or NT Administration Recovery (try searching NT Crack instead) on the computer you are using to post on this website. Then use said CD on the computer that you DONT have windows password on (assuming external cdrom works) and BOOM. you now has admin. Easy, simple, should be pretty cheap. Hope i helped.
