How can I copy text from a windows word processing document and paste it into a DOS program??

I have many different word processing programs-microsoft works (several versions), MSWord, Quark, etc. I want to paste text into a highly specialized DOS program..it's written in FoxBase (I'm not sure what version)..
The text would be pasted within a program that is used for data entry.
