Answer» I have a Toshiba 7000CT LAPTOP with corrupted hard drive. I reformated, and tried to install win 2000 but STOP error keeps popping up, also used EDR but says hard drive corrupted. I also have tried used Spotmau but can't get it working. Is there anyway to REPAIR the corrupted hard drive?nope. can't repair the hard drive if it's bad. your only choice is to buy a new one.You can try this...Go to start then choose run and type in CHKDSK Even BETTER: CHKDSK /FEven better - www.newegg.com Reformatting the drive should get rid of the corruption...as well as everything on the drive.
