Answer» Hello every!! This is my first time on these forums, I GOOGLED for help and this was the first link, helpers sent from god...lol..
Ok here is the deal, I have a FX 5200 128MB AGP video card I am trying to intsall. Here is the deal! I know the card works, just TOOK it out of another computer...
Here is what happens when I go into thew BIOS
When I click on Video options it just say Integrated and PCI
There is a jumper on the motherboard, right under the jumper it says CMOS, I took it off and I went into the Bios and it said for video options Integrated/PCI/AGP, I have a AGP option now. When I picked that option and hit F10 to save and restart I went back into the Bios and it was gone, just said PCI/Integrated... I put the jumper back on and it showed up again, and again I choose AGP and hit F10 again and again it disappeared... I can't get this thing to install.. I have it plugged into the mobo and the fan on the video card is running... I try to install the drivers for it and it says it can not detect the proper hardware and will now close... I also tried to disable the on board in device manager and uninstall the drivers for it in add/remove.. Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it...
Here is what everest says about my computer....

Does your BIOS have an auto-detect option for video? Or for disabling the integrated graphics adapter?Remove the vid card. Re-set the CMOS/Bios. Reboot a few times. Install the vid card. Load the drivers. Re-boot.
