Answer» HI All,

What i did is?, I just REMOVED the RAM, Hard disk and Cleaned my System.
When i reconnect and started my computer. It just started and in few seconds it stops (The Cooler fan started to run when i switched ON and in few seconds it stops).

I have checked the Power Supply Connections and RAM SLOTS, they are fine.
But i could not understand this problem,Can some one tell what may be issue here?

Here are my system details,

Code: [Select]Processor: Intel Pentium 4
Mother Board: Mercury
Hard disk: Segate 80 GB Hard disk
RAM: 512 MB DDR2
Secondary Device: CD Compo Drive.
OS (Installed): Windows XP

Please someone help me, i am struggling for the past three days.

What do you mean when you say you cleaned your system and how did you do it?
Does the computer give any beeps when starting up?
Have you checked everything is plugged in the right way? Quote

Why?You didn't clean it with a vacum? HopefullyDo you have a model number for your Mercury
motherboard ?

The model number is listed on the LABEL from the
motherboard that is near the parallel printer port.

The model number is listed on the top right hand
corner of the user’s manual.
