Answer» If you can using your PC go to majorgeeks.com[ google] & then scrool to system info, look for BELARC in system info. Download your info this will tell you everything you need to know> motherboard cpu ect. With that info you will be able to find another CPU. Sites to look for it NEWEGG- TIGERDIRECT or last resort EBAY. Hope this helps you ?What you broke off what part of the L3 cache. I'd consider purchasing a new processor. What you broke off what part of the L3 cache. I'd consider purchasing a new processor. No it wasn't. Whatever made you think that? Anyway, as far as I know, of the P4/Celeron family, only the P4EE Gallatin core ever had L3 cache built in. It was on the core, deep inside the ceramic package, and if it was damaged, the processor would not function. Period. Yeah, that's what made me think of it. I realized the mistake this afternoon while I was sitting there having lunch and thinking. One of the extreme edition ones had it on the OUTSIDE, I can't remember which though. I'll have to look it up. Anyway, stupid blunder on my part. |
