Solve : cpu running but there is no display on my LCD? |

Answer» i m having a desktop with AMD motherboard, sempron processor,nvidea VGA card,2 gb ddr2 ram and 180 gb hard disk. on gettting the power it says no signal digital and then becomes black ie no display,but the HDD led remains at it state without blinking I would try taking the graphics card out and placing it back in, if it is showing no signal like you say then I think it could be the graphics card. Do you have another one you could try in there if resetting it doesn't WORK?You may also want to look at the connections to the graphics card and monitor to make sure they are connected properly. i had removed the graphics card and then again placed but it doesnt work hav checked the connection it seems ok and i dont hav another to check . wht to be done next?Do you have onboard graphics on that motherboard? Do you have vga aswell as hdmi on the back of your graphics card? If so I would try connecting it to the other slot, like hdmi to vga.i dont see any fan in my graphics card its a 128 mb graphics card for the vga port i dont hav the cord for it I would look at it been the card first and I suggest you borrow one of a friend to test it?how coul i boot when i dont hav the display and dont know what is happening with the system when no displey is dere what could be the problem with HDD led which displays in continuous manner ie . doesnt blink at allI was testing one thing at a time for you before going on to the next thing, but since you cannot get hold of these things I'm not sure if I can help you anymore. Without a display how do you expect to be able to diagnose certain problems? Say like if you disconnected the hard drive the display would show on screen that there was a harddrive ERROR..etc. However, you dont have a dispay so it lead me to believe it was the graphics card or monitor problem maybe.u r correct , i will check with ur suggistions it may help with display thanks |
