I do volentary WORK at a local community center fixing computers for the local community. I am but a beginer in this area. We take in a lot of old pc and take them apart for spares and as i am relitive new there i am tring to tide things up. So to the root of my question we have a lot of cpu's stored away and would like to know if there is any way of testing them outside of a COMPUTER or any way of SETTING up a single motherboard to TEST different sorts of cpu's.Nope.
Each CPU needs the correspomding MBoard to be tested...
I'm sure there's a PIECE of testbench hardware to do what you want but would probably be cost prohibitive.
