|
Answer» specs: AMD athlon 64 3800 + 2.19ghz 896mb of ram physical address extention xp , media center edition service pack 2 in windows task manager, cpu usage is recorded backwards? if i was deleting 40 gb of files it would be at 80% maybe.. but when its idling its always at 100% is this normal? running processes: discover.exe spuvolumewatcher.exe bdswitch.exe hpwuschd2.exe discgui.exe bdmcon.exe cpf.exe bdoesrv.exe nod32kui.exe rundll32.exe bdnagent.exe wuauclt.exe ehtray.exe msnmsgr.exe ctfmon.exe explorer.exe firefox.exe discupdatemgr.exe ehmsas.exe discstreamhub.exe wmipvse.exe hpqtra08.exe spywareterminatorsheild.exe taskmgr.exe winpatrol.exe yahoomessenger.exe svchost.exe nod32krn.exe mdm.exe lssrvc.exe ehsched.exe ehrecvr.exe cmdagent.exe arservice.exe qshelf2k.exe dllhost.exe vsserv.exe spoolsv.exe svchost.exe bdss.exe svchost.exe mcrdsvc.exe svchost.exe svchost.exe livesrv.exe svchost.exe lsass.exe services.exe winlogon.exe csrss.exe xcommsvr.exe smss.exe svchost.exe svchost.exe iemonitor.exe sp_rsser.exe system system idle process theirs no speed loss , but its been freezing for a few MOMENTS recently when i have to save a file.. i also used a technique to dump the ram, could this have something to do with it?I dare SAY system idle process is at or NEAR 100%. This does not mean that CPU usage is 100% but that it is idle 100%. And dumping or clearing memory is likely causing the lag. Windows keeps certain files in memory because they are needed over and over again. If you dump them, then windows has to reload them when they are called upon.Your post is bit CONFUSING. Do you mean that system idle process is at 100% when you are not doing anything on your computer? If so, that's fine, that's good. |
