I probably did INSTALL it a LITTLE too strongly, but what's done is done. I ordered the NEW heatsink, and I won't be an idiot when INSTALLING it this time.

If it doesn't work with this new heatsink, then I have 2 other powersupplies to test it with.

And I did apply paste and I did use the heatsink, but when it kept shutting down, I took the heatsink off because I ASSUMED it was the processor overheating. I didn't turn it on again, obviously.
