Alright. I have a problem with my sound card

(Creative SB Live!)

I have been looking AROUND for anything to help on google, but I cant find anything.

I tried the diagnostic,

Mixer driver Fail
SoundFont Settings Fail
Mixer Settings Fail

Also every time I try to get into Creative SURROUND Mixer it says CtDevcon.dll is missing.
I dont know what else is messed up, except when I COME into contact with any microphone situations my computer freezes for a second, then the whole screen gets all distorted. And from there I have to turn it off.?So...know one has come past a problem like this?Reinstall the driver that came with the card...

I'm assuming you reside in the US?I tried the patch. But it didn't do anythingWhat patch?

Download a new driver...The card is dead...buy a new one,
