Answer» Regardless of the price, what will be the BEST combination of a custom made PC? What are the best respective part to choose?We will be here a while if we tell you every part... For your video card, NVIDIA is supposed to be better, but I favor ATI. For your processor, if you're into gaming, an AMD chip would be better than Intel... RAM, I don't favor a specific brand. I would say 2GB if you're a really serious gamer. HD, I like Maxtor. Go for no less than 160GB if you will be playing today's games. Are you planning on building this pc yourself ......and do you have the knowledge and EXPERIENCE to complete the build ? As I mentioned in the first post, let's assume that my budget is unlimited. Therefore we can go for the latest and greatest. And the combination is to be custom built. I use the computer to play games (all kind), graphical work (2-D & 3D), multimedia editing (audio & video), programming, surf net of course, and what else....basically that's it. www.alienware.com They have fast gaminng systems, and money is no object to them!
