Solve : Custom Resolution?

Answer»

I am trying to connect my laptop to my 60" DLP TV, but have run into a problem. I am connecting my laptop to the TV via VGA cable (That's the only output on my laptop). When I tried to set the resolution to my TV's native 1920x1080, I noticed that it wasn't an available option. So, I WENT into my Nvidia control panel and created a custom resolution for 1920x1080. I was then ABLE to force a 1920x1080 output, which LOOKS great except for one problem: It doesn't fill up the entire TV. There seem to be 4 BLACK bands running along the picture, basically cropping it. So, my question is: how do I get my laptop to fill up my TV entirely? Here is a picture of the control panel and the settings I can adjust:

Here is a demonstration of the problem: (The black is the part of the screen not being used)

My graphics card is an Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS.

Thanks for your help.Looks good to me! Can you change?
Horizontal Total = ACTIVE Horizontal Pixels
Vertical Total = Active Vertical Lines

If not, it looks very good the way it is.there should be an option to change that in the control panel. I know with my ati card on win 7 theres a black border but thats easily fixed in ccc
