Solve : Cut files, how can i get them back??

I've cut files from one hard drive, to another. Now the one i cut them to has carked it and i've lost all the files. Is there a way to get the files back of the original hard drive, i have not touched it since i cut the files.

1) All hard drives fail you eventually, so burning to an optical media is always better.

2) Some kind of backup strategy is required IF your data is worth saving.

You may get lucky, but if not data recovery services are VERY expensive.
